Hindolveston is an ideal base for touring Norfolk , being approximately 20 minutes from the coast and within 10 minutes of Fakenham and the Historic Georgian town of Holt .. The city of Norwich is about 35 minutes away.
 
Norfolk is full of varied attractions for all age groups, with beaches, bird sanctuaries (including Pensthorpe Waterfowl Park), fishing - both salt and fresh water, walks, theatres, museums (including The Thursford Collection - known countrywide for its mechanical organs, Wurlizter Shows and Christmas Carol Concerts). The Norfolk Broads, Sandringham and several National Trust properties are all within driving distance .
